Celestia jumps 57% to 11-month high as 7 altcoins beat the market

  • Celestia jumped to an eleven-month high of $0.75, gaining 57% following the launch of a new EVM chain for AI agents.
  • Bitway rose 28%, extending its positive weekly performance to three consecutive weeks and bringing monthly gains to 165%.
  • Injective gained 25% over the past week, leading the seven best-performing tokens.

The crypto market faced heightened volatility this week as hot wholesale and consumer inflation data added pressure on major tokens including Bitcoin (BTC). However, a few altcoins defied the broader market weakness, posting notable gains.

Celestia (TIA)

WoW: 57%

Celestia's TIA token gained 57% in the week, reaching $0.75, its highest level since November 2025. The rise follows the launch of Eden, a new EVM-compatible chain for experimenting with AI agents. Eden relies on Celestia for data availability and uses TIA as its native token.

TIA continues to rise, trading at $0.75, up 24% at the time of publication.

Bitway (BTW)

WoW: +28%

Bitway rose 28% over the past week, extending its positive performance for a third consecutive week. The latest gains bring BTW's advance over the past month to 165%.

The token has continued to outperform much of the broader market despite weakness in Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies. Trading volume remains high at $50 million, up 112% in the past 24 hours.

BTW is trading at $2.03, up 5% in the past 24 hours at the time of writing.

Injective (INJ)

WoW: +25%

Injective led the rally, gaining 25% over the past week. The rise could be tied to a mix of institutional interest in the project in recent weeks. Asset manager 21Shares filed for an Injective exchange-traded fund (ETF) that would hold the token directly and allow staking, followed by a Canary product that has also drawn attention.

Injective's institutional narrative got another boost when Gulf Labs joined the network as an institutional validator. INJ is up 59% in the past month following the developments, trading at $8.60 at the time of writing.

Aerodrome Finance (AERO)

WoW: +10%

Aerodrome Finance rose 10% as traders positioned around its planned merger with Velodrome. The October 21 launch of the unified Aero protocol is expected to expand its reach across seven blockchain networks.

Despite the weekly performance, AERO came under pressure heading into the weekend, down 4% in the past 24 hours as the broader market faced macro pressure.

Akedo (AKE)

WoW: +9%

Akedo gained 9% over the past week, making it the third-best performer among the seven tokens. The AI gaming and content platform has seen a notable price increase, although no confirmed development has driven its weekly advance.

The token has also continued to decline despite its positive weekly performance, with losses over 2% in the past 24 hours. Trading volume has also plunged 53% to $17 million, signaling a shift in investor sentiment.

Monero (XMR)

WoW: +8%

Monero gained 8% over the past week. The privacy-focused cryptocurrency uses technologies designed to obscure transaction details, distinguishing it from publicly traceable blockchain networks.

XMR outperformed Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) over the period, joining the list of altcoins that stayed positive during a volatile week. The token is down 0.7% in the past 24 hours at the time of writing.

Arbitrum (ARB)

WoW: +7%

Arbitrum rose 7% this week as the network continued to benefit from the launch of Global Dollar (USDG), a US dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Paxos, on Arbitrum One.

The launch included integrations with decentralized finance protocols such as Fluid, Morpho, GMX, Maple and Uniswap (UNI), enabling users to trade, lend and deploy USDG across Arbitrum's DeFi ecosystem. Kraken also supports USDG deposits and withdrawals on the network, while Stargate enables cross-chain transfers.
