Ukraine's Zelenskyy: We are prepared for certain compromises, Russia also needs to compromise


Ukrainian President Volodymyr Velenskyy said on Wednesday in an interview with German newspaper Bild that Ukraine is prepared to make certain compromises, but that Russia also needs to make some compromises too. Zelenskyy added that the aim of talks is to end the war.

More constructive/conciliatory rhetoric from Ukraine and Russia on Wednesday/since the start of the week like this helped light a fire under risk appetite on Wednesday. The latest headlines will only likely help stocks rally further, oil and gas fall further and safe-haven currencies experience further underperformance.
