Fed press conference: Jerome Powell speech - Live Stream - Jan. 30

Jerome Powell, Chairman of the Federal Reserve System, will be delivering his remarks on the monetary policy outlook at a press conference following the 2-day meeting of the Board of Governors. Powell's speech today (January 30, 2019) will start at 19:30 GMT.

Most experts expect the Fed to keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged at the target range of 2.25% - 2.5%. Today's statement won't include updated economic projections and the dot diagram. However, markets will be looking for fresh clues regarding a possible early termination of the balance sheet reduction scheme.
