DUP spokesman: DUP won't back deal that does not protect union

Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) spokesman recently crossed the wires saying that the stance that the party cannot back a deal that does not protect the union "still stands and is our position." Earlier in the day, UTV's political editor, Ken Reid, tweeted out that there was no possibility of the DUP changing its mind before Parliamentary vote today.
After rising to a fresh daily high above the 1.31 mark in the last hour following reports of former Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab looking to support the deal, the GBP/USD pair erased some of its recent gains and was last seen clinging to modest gains near 1.3090.
