China: Property market is not out of the woods yet – Standard Chartered

Standard Chartered analysts point out that China’s property market experienced a recovery in H1-2019, but overall sentiment remained subdued.

The forward-looking sub-indices show that while housing developers are making concerted efforts to accelerate construction and increase sales, policies targeting overheating cities and indebted developers are dampening their outlook.”
