Large Switzerland-based media company, are exploring migration away from fiat currency for the cryptocurrency in Bitcoin (BTC). The organisation announced today that they will look at paying all wages in Bitcoin (BTC). effectively.
The announcement follows Netzmedien AG’s decision recently to convert half of its assets to cryptocurrencies. Top company executives have been giving their employees a choice to choose between BTC and Swiss Franc.
A round of voting was conducted, which saw Bitcoin emerge as the winner. The CEO Heinrich Meyer, stated that they would start accepting bitcoins by mid-2019 for their media publications. Demonstrating their large interest of full migration to cryptocurrencies.
