Troy is from a medical background and holds a Clinical Physiology degree. In 2013, he discovered his passion for forex and began trading independently. Troy was able to gain a vast amount of knowledge of the financial markets in a relatively short amount of time, which eventually led to him being employed as a Market Analyst at RANsquawk. He was able to build on his solid technical-based knowledge of the markets, and develop a striking level of fundamental analysis. After leaving his job, Troy began to focus on his trading more and has since started to trade for a Hedge Fund based in the City of London. He also still provides market analysis for large banks and institutions via RANsquawk on a consultancy basis.
Although Troy mostly trades currencies and commodities, he is a fundamental specialist across forex, fixed income, commodities, and equities. His main priority at SB Forex is to help aspiring traders and those more experienced to have the correct approach to trading and be able to think like a market analyst, not just a trader.
