Selena has a professional background of over 10 years spent in the financial industry, with a proven track record in her field of expertise.
On obtaining her MA in Economics in 2002, Selena started her career as a Registered Futures Broker at LaSalle Futures Group in Chicago, USA, subsequently acquiring a Series 3 License from the National Futures Association, USA. Following this, she acquired further work experience as an analyst in fixed income at TD Securities, as well as at ICE Corporation in forex sales in Canada.
Selena also holds an MA in Economics from Roosevelt University, Chicago, USA, and an MA in International Political Economy from Warwick University, UK. She is currently a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) and is a member of the IFTA International Federation of Technical Analysts.
Selena joined XM as an Investment Analyst in 2011, having foreign currencies and commodities as her field of expertise. She is in charge of delivering daily market reviews as well as forex news for XM traders and investors.
