Samuel Gruen is the founder and portfolio manager at Lightfield Capital. Prior to Lightfield he was a trader at Cube Capital, a $1.1bln multi-strategy fund with a 12 year track record. Samuel’s trading responsibilities included everything from thematic research to trade structuring, execution and risk management. His macro trading framework was an important contribution to both the hedging and alpha generation across all market environments during his tenure. The macro strategy employed at Lightfield is a continuation of his work at Cube Capital.
