Mr. Francis Bussiere is a self-taught organic chemist, computer hardware/software designer, accountant and financial analyst. It started with organic chemistry while working for Henkel AG, KgaA in Canada, a German Procter and Gamble. With the launch of the IBM PC, he started a small Personal Computer assembling company using parts from Asia and studied digital logic circuits and accounting to help with the venture. With the increasing penetration from Asian competitors, he migrated to the more profitable software design and custom programming. An activity that remains to this day in semi-retirement, and is quite useful in modeling financial markets. With the peak in equities in 2000, he became intrigued by the apparently inexplicable large moves in price, and resolved to discover the underlying causes. After 15 years of research, it is apparent that such large moves are not only explicable, but also predictable with reasonable precision, and on some occasions to the exact day.
