Bjorn serves as Managing Director at Advanced Markets’ European office based in Cyprus, where he is in charge of expanding our brand presence in the EMEA region and contributing to our overall global growth.
Bjorn’s professional career in the finance industry began 5 years ago when he joined the marketing agency ConversionPros. While there, he became a vital part of the team that founded, and successfully produced, the industry-renowned iFXEXPO. Shortly afterwards, Bjorn was appointed “Head of FM Directory” and was instrumental in growing the Finance Magnates Directory into the largest, go-to directory in the FX industry. This achievement led to his appointment as “Head of Finance Magnates, Cyprus” where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations, as well as driving sales and business relationships.
It’s worth noting that, before venturing into the FX sector, Bjorn had a successful professional football career, representing his native Sweden at all levels, from U16 to U21, and captaining the U18 team in the process. At club level he represented such clubs as Malmö FF (Sweden), Crystal Palace (England) and several other clubs across Europe. He finished his 18 year football career in 2011 and settled in Cyprus.
