European Market Open

European Market Open – Risk OFF Rally!  The global sell off in equities continued overnight in Asia. Concern over the problems of the Trump administration has been hitting markets hard, with USDIndex closing at 97.3, lower than than the pre-Election level in November. Canadian markets were fully caught up the Trump trade as stocks plunged on risk-off moves and bonds surged higher. The S&P dropped about 1.8%, in line with the losses on the Dow, as the selloff from Asia picked up steam.
