US and North Korean envoys fail to hold scheduled talks
|Nes is crossing the wires that envoys from the US and North Korea were slated to hold talks today, but the meeting time came and went with no discussions between the two parties.
US President Trump has sought a working relationship with North Korea since taking office, but difficulties in achieving an easy victory has left the Trump administration largely running in circles as North Korea's Kim Jong-Un plays interference on US talks, while also pursuing more serious negotiations with their neighbors including South Korea and China.
