RBNZ inflation data steadies at 1.7% y/y in Q1 2019
|The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) is out with its Sectoral Factor Model Inflation Index for the March quarter, with the figures coming in at 1.7% y/y vs. 1.7% previous.
This data comes after the official New Zealand (NZ) CPI disappointed markets big time.
Actual NZ Q1 CPI: 0.1% Q/Q vs. 0.3% (0.1% prior) and a miss Y/Y at 1.5% vs. 1.7% (1.9% prior).
