OPEC+ JTC makes no policy recommendation – Reuters
|Following its meeting on Tuesday, the OPEC+ Joint Technical Committee (JTC) made no policy recommendation, Reuters reported, citing two OPEC+ sources.
The JTC also reportedly left its 2021 global oil demand growth forecast unchanged at 6 million barrels per day. Meanwhile, OPEC+ has moved the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) meeting to July 1 from June 30.
Market reaction
Crude oil prices showed no immediate reaction to this headline. As of writing, the barrel of West Texas Intermediate was posting small daily gains at $72.90.
