Macron and Merkel want an 'unlimited' exemption from Trump's steel tariffs
|French President Macro and German Chancellor Anglea Merkel will engage in talks with the Trump administration only if Europe obtains an unlimited exemption from the proposed tariff measures, according to The Independent.
Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the European Commission, also said the EU would "not negotiate with the sword of Damocles hanging over our head" as a "matter of dignity".
