Japan’s Motegi: Japan, US have some differences in views on trade, but will try to resolve
|Japanese Economy Minister Motegi was on the wires last minutes, via Reuters, noting that Japan and the US have some differences in views on trade but will seek how best to proceed with the discussions.
Motegi added that the US and Japan still negotiating date for bilateral trade talks, if held will be before Abe-Trump summit.
On Monday, Japan’s PM Abe expressed his take on the latest US-Japan trade spat by saying that trade fights do not benefit any country.
