Italy's PM-designate considering giving up mandate - ANSA
|According to ANSA News Agency, Italian Prime Minister-designate Carlo Cottarelli is considering giving up his mandate to pave the way for a possible election on July 29, as reported by Reuters. Earlier in the hour, Cottarelli has left his meeting with the president, during which he was expected to present a list of ministers, without making any comments to the reporters.
The EUR/USD continues to trade within its recent range near mid-1.15s, and is headed for the second straight negative daily close of the week.
