EUR futures: sidelined so far

According to CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR futures markets noted investors added around 4.5K contracts on Friday vs. Thursday’s final 505,909 contracts. On the other hand, the choppy activity remains well and sound around volume, this time retreating sharply by nearly 62K contracts.

EUR/USD between 1.2150/1.2550

Following last week’s tops in the 1.2400 neighborhood, EUR/USD has sparked a correction lower and remains poised to extend the broader consolidative theme that has been prevailing since late January, likely between 1.2150 and 1.2550.
