EU Summit Update: Austria’s Kurz and Dutch PM Rutte happy with current proposals
|Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz tweeted out on Monday, the European Union (EU) Summit discussions are difficult but we can be very satisfied with today's result.
Meanwhile, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said, “on the whole, we are making progress in EU summit.”

Barend Leyts, Spokesman for the European Council President came out with the latest update, noting that that the meeting will reconvene at 1600 Brussels time, which is 1400GMT.
Market reaction
EUR/USD recovers losses and trades flat around 1.1430, still capped below the critical 1.1440 resistance.
