Risk sentiment took a fresh knock after the Washington Post (WaPo) reported on Monday, Belarus is likely to join Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Belarus is preparing to send soldiers into Ukraine in support of the Russian invasion in a deployment that could begin as soon as Monday, WaPo reports, citing a US administration official.
This comes as US President Joe Biden is seen meeting NATO, the EU, the UK on Monday.
Market reaction
The S&P 500 futures met fresh supply on the above news, down 2.66% on the day vs. 2.50% seen before.
Meanwhile, EUR/USD dropped back towards 1.1150 on fresh Ukraine worries.
