|BlackRock, Bitwise poised to shake up crypto markets as Bitcoin ETF options start trading
Options trading for BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) is expected to start on Nasdaq on Tuesday, and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF options will begin trading this Wednesday, Nasdaq head of ETP listings Alison Hennessy told Bloomberg on Monday.
In September, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved options for spot Bitcoin ETFs on various exchanges, enabling these launches.
Solana bulls target new all-time highs
Solana (SOL) extends its bullish momentum and trades in green at around $242.80 at the time of writing on Tuesday after rallying more than 45% in the last two weeks. On-chain data hints at further gains as SOL’s Open Interest, trading volume, and fees reach new record highs.
The technical charts show a bullish breakout pattern and suggest a continuation of the rally, with a target set for a new all-time high (ATH) of $276.
Bitcoin is aiming for $110K
The cryptocurrency market is down 0.5% in 24 hours to $3.08 trillion. The market has paused after rallying since the end of last week. Ethereum and Litecoin have pulled back from recent highs, while XRP is stabilising. Bitcoin and Solana are hovering near recent highs and are getting ready to update them.
