Volatility and selling return to stocks

The rebound in US markets may be over as fears about the health of the economy take hold again, says Chris Beauchamp, Chief Market Analyst at online trading platform IG.

Selling resumes across indices

After a week in which hopes of rebound for battered US stocks predominated, US stocks have turned firmly lower in the final session of the week.
