Here’s why the global energy crisis is the biggest opportunity of the decade [Video]

So far this year, Commodities have been on an unstoppable run with everything from the metals, energies to agriculture markets hitting new record highs almost weekly.

There are plenty of reasons why Commodities are on the move from rapidly surging global inflation, tightening supply, logistical bottlenecks to booming demand across many highly essential Commodities as world economies recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

But another major driver is the Electric Vehicle (EV) and Green Energy Revolution, which has plunged the world into an Energy Crisis – the likes of which hasn’t been seen since the 1970s.

It's no surprise that Commodities have positioned themselves as one of the best performing asset classes of 2021.

Among the biggest gainers is Natural Gas prices, which have been a parabolic bull run – as it’s one of the easiest replacements for Coal as countries across the world aggressive race to reduce CO2 emissions and deliver on their net zero emission goals by 2030.

The on-going Energy Crisis has driven Natural Gas prices up more than 350% this year with the benchmark futures contract now trading at the Oil equivalent price of over $230 a barrel.

Despite a strongly stated desire to transition to renewable energy sources, the insufficient supply of Solar, Wind, and other Clean Energy has left gas-powered energy to fill the huge gap.

Every Electric Vehicle sold today that isn't 100% powered by renewables will increase demand for Natural Gas. The consequences of this alone will have massive implications on prices ahead.

Citigroup predicts Natural Gas prices will more than double, if not triple from current levels over the next year.

And let’s not forget the important role metals also play in the global EV and Green Energy Revolution – namely Lithium, Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, Aluminium, Silicon, Steel, Platinum, Palladium, Uranium and Rare Earth metals.

Over the past year, each and every one of these metals has skyrocketed to record breaking highs – And this is just the beginning.
